It started with two friends and an idea.
Jessica C. Williams began her quest for the perfect turkey dinner in order to pass along family recipes to her son, nieces, and nephews. Her goal was to simplify the process, compressing decades of knowledge into one winning formula which can be followed successfully every year.
Partnering with longtime friend Roseline Seng, the project went from preliminary mockup and moodboarding to interviewing local food photographers and food stylists; to art directing two 15-hour photo shoots; to six days of press checks; to selecting mailers and creating an eCommerce web site. The result? Turkey Savvy—a cooking guide for anyone who wants to learn to stuff a bird, feed fortunate guests, and make lifelong memories in the process.
